Emily Jackson BSW, MSW, RSW

I am a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work, specializing in Clinical Social Work. For over 20 years, I have dedicated my career to the social service field, focusing on supporting children with disabilities and their families. In my private practice, I specialize in working with families and individuals raising a child with a disability, gently guiding parents through the grief and loss process and helping them adjust to a diagnosis.

I am committed to providing a safe and inclusive space for clients from the LGBTQIA2+ community, where they can explore relationships, sexuality, and gender. I believe in empowering my clients and tailoring therapy sessions to meet their unique needs, drawing on various therapeutic approaches to support their goals and outcomes.

I living in Calgary with my partner and two wonderful daughters. I bring both professional expertise and personal lived experience to my practice.

Training

With a background as a generalist, I have extensive experience working with trauma, EMDR, attachment-based theories, motivational interviewing, narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, and in mental health settings. I am Level 1 certified in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and trained in EMDR (Basic and Medical Trauma). My therapeutic approach is strengths-based and customized to the needs of each client, ensuring that therapy aligns with their individual goals and desired outcomes.

Jason Grieve BSW, MSW. RSW

I am a mental health therapist, holding a master's degree in clinical social work from the University of Calgary specializing in mental health and addictions. My background includes mental health counselling, community support for children with disabilities and their families, crisis intervention, and suicide prevention. Drawing from this experience, I am dedicated to fostering support, empowerment, and resilience-building for individuals in need. I offer you an environment of empathy, validation, and hope, where you can safely explore emotions and experiences to overcome challenges, build inner strength, and embrace positive change.

I believe in using one or a combination of approaches, depending on where you are at, and where you want to be.
